Blink-182 Plans To Release 'At Least Two More Songs' Before Going On Tour

Back in March, Travis Barker assured fans that blink-182's eighth studio album would "definitely by out before the Warped Tour;" however, we now know that's not the case. Last month, Mark Hoppus divulged that the record wouldn't be coming out in June, and now he's giving us an explanation why.

During a recent interview with ALT 98.7, the bassist/singer admitted the holdup is because the band simply can't stop writing new music. “We keep writing more and more songs and the songs keep getting better and better,” he gushed. “Originally I thought we were going to have an album out in June, but we keep adding more songs, so probably later on in the summer."

But don't worry, blink fans, the pop punk veterans still plan on sharing some new music this month. “Before we leave for tour there are at least two songs coming out – and as more songs get released, we’ll probably incorporate those into the set,” Mark revealed.

Blink gave us the first taste of the new project in May with "Blame It On My Youth." We can't wait to see what else they've been cooking up. And though they may be incorporating new tunes into their set lists, they'll also be playing Enema of the State in its entirety all summer. Check out their full list of tour dates here and watch the full interview with Mark and Travis below.
